The Interstellar Army is the principle terrestrial force of the Interstellar Military.

They are the first defenders of a planet against a land attack.
The Interstellar Navy is the fighting branch of the armed forces that fields warships into combat and also dispatches Marines for land based operations.

The Navy gets all of the IF's forces where they need to be, throughout the universe.
AIR FORCE
The Interstellar Air Force is responsible for the aerial combat operations of a planetoid's atmosphere.
​
They are also
responsible for planet-based strategic missiles.
